Hi, I’m Nate Geffrard—a senior at Pace University, graduating in Winter 2025 with a degree in Film & Screen Studies and a minor in Biology. The vibrant energy of New York City has shaped my love for storytelling, inspiring me to explore how film can reflect life, science, and the complexities of human connection.

My passion for storytelling started back in sixth grade, where I found myself eagerly spending countless hours in the cozy school library, diving into a wide array of comics alongside my friends and our enthusiastic librarian. What began as an innocent love for vibrant characters and intricate world-building gradually evolved into a deep fascination with the entire process of writing, the art of production, and the profound emotional power that narrative can convey in various forms.

Throughout my time at Pace, I’ve immersed myself in the craft of cinema—analyzing its techniques, experimenting with visual storytelling, and exploring how stories can educate, entertain, and challenge perspectives. Whether I’m developing scripts, supporting independent productions, or researching audience engagement, I aim to create work that is both meaningful and imaginative, always grounded in curiosity and human truth.
